Ishaq Dar Meets Chinese Ambassador, Discusses Regional Situation and Bilateral Ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad on Tuesday, where both sides discussed the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

According to the Foreign Office, the meeting focused on regional peace and stability, including ongoing diplomatic efforts related to tensions between the United States and Iran. The Chinese ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote dialogue and engagement for sustainable peace between the two countries and expressed full support for these initiatives.

Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. He emphasized the importance of high-level exchanges between the two nations to enhance mutual trust and cooperation.

Both sides agreed on the significance of strong bilateral relations in promoting regional stability, economic development, and long-term strategic cooperation, and pledged to continue working closely to further deepen ties between Pakistan and China.
