Abdul Razzaq Tareen, the security guard who helped rescue acid attack victim Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, has spoken publicly about the traumatic incident, describing it as one of the most disturbing experiences of his life.

Speaking to local media, Abdul Razzaq said he was on duty and using his mobile phone when he suddenly heard a terrifying scream from nearby. Rushing to the scene, he found Dr. Mah Noor with her clothes severely damaged by acid and visible injuries to her face.

According to him, the victim was in extreme pain and distress. In an effort to protect her dignity and provide immediate assistance, he removed part of his uniform and used it to cover her body.

He further stated that while trying to help, another individual pushed him from behind. As he fell to the ground, he came into contact with acid that had spilled on the floor, causing injuries to his legs. He also suffered burns to his hand while assisting the victim.

Abdul Razzaq said witnessing the doctor’s suffering was emotionally devastating and difficult to describe. He emphasized that helping her was his moral and human responsibility.

“I only did what any brother would do. She is like a sister to me, and protecting her was my duty,” he said.

The security guard added that Dr. Mah Noor’s parents later met him and expressed gratitude for his courage, saying his actions helped save their daughter’s life and dignity during a critical moment.

Authorities continue to investigate the acid attack, while Abdul Razzaq’s actions have been widely praised as an example of bravery and humanity in a time of crisis.
