A Pakistan Army Aviation Mi-17 helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad during takeoff after reportedly developing a technical fault, resulting in the martyrdom of all personnel on board.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the helicopter was conducting a routine flight when the accident occurred. Initial reports indicate that a technical malfunction caused the aircraft to lose control shortly after takeoff and crash.

ISPR stated that rescue and relief teams were immediately dispatched to the crash site and emergency operations were launched. However, all personnel aboard the helicopter were confirmed dead in the accident.

The military’s media wing expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the servicemen and extended condolences to the families of the martyrs. An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the crash.

The tragic incident has sparked grief across the country, with tributes pouring in for the fallen personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
