Intelligence and law enforcement agencies have reportedly carried out a major joint operation in Muzaffarabad, arresting five individuals alleged to have links with India’s external intelligence agency, RAW.

According to official sources, the operation was conducted in the Chahla area following intelligence-based information regarding suspected activities. The five suspects were taken into custody during the targeted raid.

Authorities stated that laptops, mobile phones, and other communication devices were recovered from the suspects. Preliminary investigations reportedly revealed sensitive material and evidence of suspicious contacts.

During the investigation, officials claim that information provided by one of the suspects led to the recovery of a significant cache of weapons, including seven automatic firearms, several hand grenades, and other military-grade equipment.

Sources further alleged that maps of sensitive locations and installations, along with documents related to potential operational planning, were also seized during the operation.
