Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on Thursday with a high-level delegation to demonstrate Pakistan’s support for Qatar following Israeli airstrikes on residential areas in the Qatari capital.

According to the Foreign Office, the premier is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Ata Tarar, Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi, and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.

During his stay, Shehbaz Sharif will meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to convey Pakistan’s sympathies and support for the Qatari leadership and people.
