Iqbal Hussain Reveals He Was a Longtime Admirer of Bushra Ansari

Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari and renowned director Iqbal Hussain have shared interesting memories about their love story and first meeting.

Speaking on a television program, Iqbal Hussain revealed that he had been a great admirer of Bushra Ansari since his youth. He said that during his college years, he used to collect and keep her photographs cut from magazines.

Iqbal also recalled frequently visiting Islamabad because Bushra Ansari worked there, although she had no idea about his feelings at the time.

Bushra Ansari, on the other hand, shared that their first formal meeting took place during a television show in the 1990s, where Iqbal Hussain appeared as a guest.

She humorously recalled teasing him about his hairstyle during the program. However, Iqbal did not respond, and later explained that he was so overwhelmed and impressed by seeing her in person that he was unable to say anything.

According to the couple, that memorable first meeting eventually turned into a beautiful relationship years later, leading them to begin a new chapter of life together.
