The Iran Football Federation has expressed concern after claiming that the United States canceled the World Cup ticket quota allocated to Iran under FIFA regulations.

According to the federation, FIFA rules provide participating national federations with approximately eight percent of match tickets to distribute among their supporters and official fan groups.

Iranian football officials stated that the tickets reserved for Iran have been withdrawn, making it impossible for the federation to provide tickets to supporters planning to attend the tournament.

The federation noted that ticket sales for the group-stage matches had already begun and that many Iranian fans had completed travel arrangements in anticipation of attending the games.

In its statement, the federation argued that the decision contradicts the principles of equality, fairness, and neutrality that should apply to all participating nations.

The Iranian Football Federation has called on FIFA and World Cup organizers to uphold established regulations and ensure that Iranian supporters are given the opportunity to attend matches on equal terms with fans from other countries.

The issue has raised concerns among Iranian football fans, while officials continue to seek clarification and resolution from the relevant authorities.
