Iran Says Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf to Attend US-Iran Agreement Signing Ceremony

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has announced that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will participate in the signing ceremony of the agreement between Iran and the United States.

In a statement, Takht-Ravanchi said that the next phase of negotiations between Tehran and Washington would focus on issues related to Iran’s nuclear program. Discussions are expected to cover uranium enrichment, stockpiles of enriched material, and Iran’s future nuclear requirements.

He stated that the signing ceremony for the interim agreement will take place in Switzerland. However, the exact venue has not yet been finalized, and details regarding the format and procedures of the ceremony remain under discussion.

According to the Iranian deputy foreign minister, a new round of negotiations will begin immediately after the interim agreement is signed.

The announcement comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States to build on a preliminary understanding aimed at reducing tensions and advancing discussions on key security and nuclear issues.

Officials from both sides have indicated that future talks will address more complex matters, including the framework for Iran’s nuclear activities and broader regional stability.
