Pakistan Navy Conducts Successful Rescue Operation in Arabian Sea

Pakistan Navy carried out a successful rescue operation in the Arabian Sea, saving seven crew members from a stranded vessel named MV Gautam.

The rescued individuals included six Indian nationals and one Indonesian citizen, highlighting the humanitarian and international nature of the mission.

According to reports, the vessel was traveling from Oman to India when it developed a serious technical fault, leaving it stranded at sea. The crew later issued a distress signal, which was communicated through the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Mumbai.

Following the alert, Pakistani authorities immediately responded and dispatched the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency vessel “Kashmir” to assist the stranded ship.

The rescue team successfully evacuated all crew members and provided them with immediate medical assistance, food, and technical support. Officials confirmed that all rescued individuals were in stable condition.

Authorities stated that the operation demonstrated effective maritime coordination and reaffirmed that saving lives at sea remains a top priority regardless of nationality.

The Pakistan Navy emphasized its continued commitment to humanitarian rescue missions and international maritime cooperation.
