US President Donald Trump made several major claims regarding the India-Pakistan conflict, Iran, and global security while speaking at the Oval Office in the White House.

According to international media reports, Trump claimed that 11 aircraft were shot down during the India-Pakistan conflict. He said Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told him that his intervention had “saved 30 to 50 million lives.”

Speaking about Iran, Trump claimed that the United States had destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities in June and vowed that Iran would never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

He further stated that 90 percent of Iran’s rocket manufacturing factories had been destroyed and that the country’s naval and air capabilities had been significantly weakened. According to Trump, Iran’s drone and missile production capacity has also been reduced, while several missiles were destroyed.

Trump indicated that although he does not currently favor restarting the war immediately, the option remains available if necessary. He also said Iran wants a deal with the United States, but internal disagreements within the Iranian leadership are slowing negotiations.

The US president added that oil prices could decrease once tensions with Iran are resolved, while emphasizing that the American economy remains strong and stock markets continue reaching new highs.

Trump also said he had no objection to Iran participating in the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be hosted in North America.

Additionally, he stated that the United States is considering the possible withdrawal of troops from Italy and Spain as part of a broader review of American military deployments in Europe.

In another controversial claim, Trump said Iran refrained from executing eight women at his request and alleged that the Iranian government had previously been responsible for the deaths of 42,000 protesters.
