Accused Anmol Alias Pinky Alleges Torture and False Cases in Karachi Court
A woman identified as Anmol alias Pinky, who is facing multiple narcotics-related cases in Karachi, appeared before the court under tight security after completion of her physical remand.
During the hearing, the accused made serious allegations against the police, claiming she had been tortured and falsely implicated in fabricated cases.
“I was brought from Lahore and trapped in fake cases,” she told the court. Pinky further alleged that narcotics were planted on her and that she was forcibly made to name certain individuals during interrogation.
According to the accused, six men allegedly forced her into a vehicle and kept her for nearly 15 days before formally handing her over to police authorities.
Investigating officers from the Special Investigation Unit were also present in court to seek further physical remand for additional interrogation.
Police informed the court that the accused had been declared absconding in a case registered in 2025 and had long been wanted by law enforcement agencies.
Authorities also stated that one of Pinky’s riders had been arrested from Karachi’s Central District, expanding the scope of the investigation.
Police requested additional remand to collect further evidence and revealed that applications would also be filed to obtain remand in 11 other cases registered against the accused in different police stations across the city.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court initiated proceedings on the remand request, while the accused was later shifted back under strict security arrangements.
Police officials say investigations are continuing and more developments are expected soon.
