Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, made a compelling plea for institutions to remain neutral. Highlighting the significance of this approach, he assured the audience of his commitment to fulfilling all provincial needs and securing necessary funds from the federal government.

During his address, Gandapur paid homage to the police martyrs and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the police force. He emphasized that many projects were initiated under his government but faced delays, and now, the priority is to complete these 600 ongoing projects before starting new ones. The Chief Minister stressed focusing on fundamental tasks to resolve public issues effectively.

“We must develop tolerance within ourselves. If a police officer conducts a search, it is for your safety,” Gandapur stated, urging respect for the law and proper traffic management. He proposed a new policy where fines would be based on the vehicle’s price and model, suggesting higher fines for owners of expensive vehicles.

Despite the ongoing terrorism, Gandapur praised the police for their excellent performance and assured that matters related to the martyrs’ package would be presented in the assembly. He also announced plans to provide plots to the families of polio workers, police, and teachers who were martyred.

“Our budget is tax-free and welfare-oriented, aimed at supporting the poor,” he said, revealing plans to provide solar systems to 100,000 people, with 50,000 receiving them for free. Emphasizing the need-based development of universities, he concluded by recalling the low petrol prices during his tenure and affirmed that decisions were made in consensus during the Apex Committee meetings.
