Federal Minister Atta Tarar Highlights Role of National Peace Message Committee Amid Rising Terror Threats

Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar has emphasized the importance of the National Peace Message Committee, describing its key mission as promoting a message of peace across Pakistan.

Speaking to the media, Minister Tarar highlighted that terrorist groups such as Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij are receiving foreign funding and continue to target innocent civilians.

He announced that the Secretariat of the National Peace Message Committee has been established, reflecting the government’s commitment to a comprehensive strategy against terrorism.

“The nation is determined to eliminate terrorism, and Pakistan’s efforts are being undermined by the use of Afghanistan’s territory by terrorist groups,” Tarar said. He added that spreading a culture of peace is the only sustainable path forward.

The minister urged all sectors of society to support initiatives that reinforce national unity and counter extremist narratives.
