Iran’s Supreme Leader Compares Trump to Pharaoh and Nimrod, Warns of Historic Fate
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has launched a scathing attack on former US President Donald Trump, comparing him to historical figures such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, and Reza Shah, and warning that he too will face a similar fate.
In a statement shared on social media, Ayatollah Khamenei said that an arrogant individual believes himself capable of deciding the fate of the entire world, but such rulers often forget how history judges those intoxicated by power.
He emphasized that history clearly shows that tyrannical leaders driven by pride, oppression, and unchecked authority do not survive for long. “Those who consider themselves invincible at the peak of their power are ultimately brought down,” he said.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as ongoing regional instability involving Israel.
Meanwhile, Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian accused the United States and Israel of deliberately attempting to destabilize Iran. He claimed that external forces are actively working to create unrest inside the country through political pressure, economic sanctions, and covert interference.
President Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran would resist foreign pressure and safeguard its sovereignty, warning that continued interference would only escalate tensions further.
The statements from Iran’s top leadership signal a continued hardline stance toward Washington and Tel Aviv, reinforcing Tehran’s narrative of resistance against what it calls Western aggression.
