Two Tragic Incidents in Lahore: Father Kills Daughter, 18-Year-Old Commits Suicide

Two tragic domestic incidents have shaken Lahore. In Kahna, a father allegedly killed his 22-year-old daughter, Samina, by beating her with sticks over suspicion during a domestic dispute. According to Edhi officials, the argument escalated, leading the father to violently attack her, resulting in her death on the spot.

The body was shifted to the morgue after legal formalities. Kahna police swiftly arrested the suspect, Aslam, from Azad Town and recovered the murder weapon. SSP Model Town Shehrbano Naqvi confirmed that the motive behind the killing was the father’s suspicion toward his daughter.

In another incident in Sabzazar’s Syedpur area, an 18-year-old girl named Erum reportedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous tablets after a domestic quarrel. Police and investigation teams collected evidence from the scene and have initiated an inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The body has been moved to the morgue.
