Trump Says Saudi Arabia Likely to Join the Abraham Accords Soon
US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that Saudi Arabia could soon become part of the Abraham Accords.
In an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes”, when asked whether Riyadh might normalize ties with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state, Trump responded:
“I think Saudi Arabia will join the Abraham Accords. We’ll find a way.”
He added that the future of the two-state solution remains “uncertain” as it depends on “Israel and me.”
Meanwhile, White House officials confirmed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Washington on November 18 for talks with President Trump. The agenda will include bilateral relations, regional security, and the potential peace deal with Israel.
According to U.S. media, Trump is increasing diplomatic pressure on Saudi Arabia to join the accords as part of his broader Middle East peace initiative.
The Abraham Accords, launched in 2020, led the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco to establish diplomatic ties with Israel. Saudi participation, if realized, would mark a major shift in the region’s geopolitical landscape.
