Pakistan Has Taken Effective Measures Against Terrorist Presence in Afghanistan
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that Pakistan has taken effective and decisive measures to curb the presence of terrorists in Afghanistan.
He made these remarks during his visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) in Swabi, where he addressed students and faculty about regional security, border tensions, and the role of social media in shaping narratives.
The DG ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country against any form of aggression. “The Pakistan Army will continue to stand like a steel wall against the hostility of any enemy,” he declared.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also emphasized the role of Pakistan’s youth in nation-building, saying that young people are the true architects of the country’s bright and prosperous future.
Students and faculty members paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs and veterans during the session.
