Operation Bunyān Mursūs Was a Victory of Truth and Unity,” says DG ISPR at GCU Lahore

Director General ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special session with students of Government College University Lahore, where he shared powerful insights into Operation Bunyān Mursūs, referring to it as a “decisive victory of truth and national will.”

The DG ISPR highlighted the failure of India’s Operation Sandoor, emphasizing how Pakistan’s strategic response, discipline, and the spirit of youth played a critical role in the nation’s success.

He praised the patriotism and intellectual depth of Pakistani youth, especially during the testing times of the operation. Students asked direct questions on national security, interfaith harmony, and social cohesion, to which the General responded with clarity and resolve.

Later, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif also met with youth and religious representatives from different faiths, calling interfaith unity and peace the foundation of Pakistan’s strength.

“Pakistanis, regardless of religion, stand as one wall of steel in front of enemies. Our youth are the hope for a peaceful and progressive future,” he stated.

The session concluded with GCU students presenting a tribute to Pakistan Army through a national song, reaffirming unity and commitment to the country’s future.
