Pakistan Army Successfully Rescues Stranded Tourists After Skardu-Deosai Landslide

Due to recent cloudbursts and heavy rainfall in Skardu, multiple landslides struck the Skardu-Deosai road, stranding dozens of vehicles with tourists and local residents.
The Pakistan Army swiftly launched a rescue operation. Military engineering teams, equipped with heavy machinery, worked overnight to restore road access from Skardu to Sadpara Mountaineering School and Deosai to Sadpara Village.
All stranded individuals and vehicles were rescued safely. Traffic has now resumed on all previously blocked routes, and army units remain deployed in the region to handle any further emergencies.
