Indian Funds Fueling Terrorism in Pakistan Through Afghan Taliban, Claims Ex-Afghan General

In a revelation that adds fuel to the already tense regional dynamics, former Afghan General Sami Sadat has stated that India is providing financial support to the Afghan Taliban, who in turn are funding terrorist groups operating within Pakistan. Sadat pointed directly to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch separatist movements as primary recipients of these funds.

He emphasized that the Taliban’s financial backing to these outlawed groups is directly contributing to attacks on Pakistani soil. The statement strengthens Pakistan’s narrative that its regional adversaries are leveraging Afghan territory and insurgent groups to destabilize the country.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had previously warned of growing ties between India and the Afghan Taliban, accusing them of conspiring against Pakistan’s sovereignty. This latest disclosure could further complicate regional diplomacy and security efforts.
