India’s War Obsession Threatens South Asian Peace

India’s increasing defense budget and large-scale procurement of lethal weapons from Israel and the West have ignited concerns of a possible military conflict in South Asia. Sources confirm that India is closely studying Israel’s model of aggression on Iran as a justification for its future military ambitions.

Over the past decade, the Modi government has spent billions acquiring Barak-8 missile systems from Israel, Rafale jets from France worth $9 billion, and the S-400 air defense system from Russia for $5.4 billion.

India has also imported Heron and Harop drones and is directly collaborating with Israeli firms on night vision tech, missile systems, and secure communication. In June 2025, India publicly praised Israel’s strike on Iran and views it as a potential operational template.

Pakistani intelligence sources state that Islamabad is fully aware of India’s ambitions and has vowed to respond decisively to any aggression. Pakistan remains committed to defending its sovereignty at all costs and maintaining peace through strength.
