Pakistan Condemns Israeli Strikes on Iran, Urges Global Action to Prevent Escalation

Pakistan on Friday issued a strong and unequivocal condemnation of the early morning Israeli airstrikes on Iran, calling them an “unacceptable” violation of international law and a dangerous provocation that threatens peace across the Middle East.
In a formal statement, Pakistan’s Foreign Office expressed grave concern over what it called a “blatant breach” of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement termed the Israeli actions as “unjustified and contrary to the UN Charter.”
“Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s military strikes inside Iranian territory,” said the Foreign Office spokesperson. “These actions are a blatant violation of international law. Iran, as a sovereign nation, has every right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN Charter.”
The statement further called on the international community to take urgent notice of the developments and prevent further escalation in a region already on the edge.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, echoed the condemnation in a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying the attack “has shaken the foundations of international law and conscience of humanity.”
Meanwhile, Israel claimed the airstrikes were “preemptive and precise,” targeting high-level IRGC officials in Tehran. Iran’s leadership has vowed a strong response, raising fears of a wider regional war.
