Aleema Khan Criticizes PTI Leadership Over Rally Postponement, Questions Their Intentions
Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has voiced her discontent with the party’s current leadership following the abrupt postponement of a rally in Tarnol. Speaking out against the decision, Aleema Khan questioned the motives of the party’s leadership, alleging that they have no genuine intention of bringing the PTI founder back into the political arena.
In a fiery response reported by a private TV channel, Aleema Khan pointed fingers at prominent PTI leader Azam Swati, questioning how he managed to meet the PTI founder so early in the morning at Adiala Jail and who instructed him to convey the message to postpone the rally. She further accused the leadership of making decisions independently while falsely attributing them to the PTI founder.
Aleema Khan’s remarks have sparked a debate within party circles, as she claimed the leadership lacks the courage to face the workers and instead uses the founder’s name to justify their decisions. Her bold stance has raised questions about the internal dynamics of PTI and the direction in which the party is heading.
