Local Elders and Military Officials Collaborate to Expedite Road Repairs in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali

A jirga took place in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, involving the local brigade commander, assistant commissioner, and elders from Musakai and Hassokhel.

The discussion focused on the swift completion of the Mir Ali-Hassokhel road repairs. The brigade commander praised the efforts of the civil administration and local leaders, highlighting their crucial role in ensuring the project’s progress.

He reiterated the commitment to working together for lasting peace in the region. The jirga also emphasized the importance of upholding tribal traditions and expressed confidence that, with local cooperation in keeping external threats at bay, there would be no need for forced evacuations in the area.
