US Ready to Strike Iran Again if No Deal is Reached, Says Defense Secretary
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has warned that the United States is prepared to launch military strikes against Iran again if diplomatic efforts fail to produce an agreement.
Speaking at Asia’s largest security forum in Singapore, attended by defense leaders, military officials, and diplomats from across the region, Hegseth said Washington remains ready to take military action if necessary.
He stated that if no agreement can be reached with Iran, the United States is prepared to resume strikes and emphasized that America’s military capabilities are now stronger than ever.
The US defense chief also highlighted the country’s vast weapons stockpiles, saying that the United States possesses greater military resources than any other nation and is therefore in a strong position to respond if required.
Hegseth further stressed that despite tensions with Iran, the United States has not shifted its focus away from the Asia-Pacific region and remains committed to maintaining security partnerships and strategic engagement across the region.
His remarks come amid ongoing concerns over US-Iran relations and are likely to draw international attention as efforts to manage tensions in the Middle East continue.
