Mojtaba Khamenei’s Hajj Message: “Israel Must Be Eradicated,” Iranian Supreme Leader Calls for Muslim Unity
Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, in a special message released during Hajj 2026 and Eid al-Adha, declared that Israel “must certainly be uprooted” and claimed that its downfall is inevitable.
According to reports by Al Jazeera and Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Khamenei described Israel as a “dangerous and deadly cancerous tumor” in the region and stated that Iran’s actions had rendered the Israeli government helpless.
Referring to the recent conflict as the “second imposed war,” he said it had become “a severe slap” for the United States. Khamenei further stated that this year’s Hajj season had increased the importance of disassociating from both the United States and Israel.
He claimed that slogans such as “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” would become dominant voices across the Muslim world. The Iranian leader also asserted that American influence in the Middle East is steadily declining and that regional nations would no longer serve as shields for US military bases.
Khamenei stated that the “Zionist regime” had entered the final stages of its existence and emphasized that the future belongs to the Muslim Ummah and a new Islamic civilization.
He urged Muslims to work collectively toward shaping a new regional and global order based on shared interests and capabilities. Addressing Iranian pilgrims, he encouraged them to spread a message of “victory, resistance, and hope” among Muslims gathered from around the world during Hajj.
