Pakistan Fully Committed to Eliminating Terrorism, Says Field Marshal Asim Munir
Quetta: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stated that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the full support of the public, remain fully committed to eliminating all forms of terrorism and defeating every attempt to destabilize the country.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief visited Quetta Garrison where he addressed faculty members and officers undergoing training at the Command and Staff College Quetta.
During his address, Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the institution’s high standards of professional training, intellectual development, and military excellence. He noted that the college’s graduates have earned distinction due to their professionalism and dedication.
Highlighting the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare, he emphasized the importance of emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, inter-services coordination, and preparedness for future battlefield challenges.
He urged officers to continuously train themselves and their troops to effectively respond to changing warfare dynamics and security challenges.
The Field Marshal also met officers and soldiers deployed in Balochistan and appreciated their high morale, operational readiness, and professional commitment.
He stated that Pakistan’s journey toward development cannot be halted through propaganda, fake news, or foreign-sponsored terrorism. He added that all attempts to destabilize Pakistan through proxies and disinformation campaigns would fail due to the strength of the state and the unity of the people.
Asim Munir stressed the importance of lasting peace and stability in Balochistan, saying that long-term development requires public welfare-focused policies, inclusive growth, and improved governance.
The ISPR further stated that the Field Marshal appreciated the Government of Balochistan’s initiatives aimed at public welfare, socio-economic development, and strengthening the bond between the state and the people. Upon his arrival in Quetta, he was received by the Quetta Corps Commander.
