Gold Prices Surge in Global and Local Markets

Gold prices continued their upward trend on Monday in both international and local markets. In the global bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by 8 dollars, reaching a new level of 4,716 dollars.

Following the international trend, local bullion markets also witnessed a rise in prices at the start of the business week. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by 800 rupees, bringing the new price to 493,962 rupees.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold in the country rose by 686 rupees, reaching 423,492 rupees.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the local market. The price per tola of silver stayed unchanged at 8,049 rupees, while the price for 10 grams also held steady at 6,900 rupees.
