Gold Prices Rise Again in Pakistan Amid Global Market Pressure

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Monday, with the price of one tola of gold increasing by Rs900 to reach Rs477,162.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs772, reaching Rs409,089.

Market analysts say that rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, increasing crude oil prices, and the strengthening of the US dollar against major currencies including the euro are affecting global bullion markets.

Meanwhile, in the international bullion market, the price of gold increased by 9 dollars per ounce, reaching 4,548 dollars per ounce.

Experts believe that uncertainty in global financial markets and growing demand for safe-haven assets are contributing to the continuous rise in gold prices both internationally and locally.
