Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Following Global Market Decline
Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped significantly following a decline in the international market, bringing relief to local buyers.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan decreased by Rs. 3,300, bringing it down to Rs. 501,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 2,829 to reach Rs. 430,008.
In the global market, gold prices declined by $33 per ounce, settling at $4,792 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a reduction in Pakistan, with per tola rates dropping by Rs. 70 to reach Rs. 8,444.
Market analysts attribute the decline to fluctuations in international gold prices, which directly impact domestic rates. The recent drop is being viewed as a short-term correction, although future trends will depend on global economic conditions and currency stability.
