Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan After Previous Day’s Surge
Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline today after recording a sharp increase a day earlier.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2,700, bringing the new rate down to Rs494,062.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs2,315 to settle at Rs423,578.
Meanwhile, gold prices also declined in the international market, where the price per ounce fell by 27 dollars to reach 4,717 dollars.
In contrast, silver prices in the local bullion market moved upward. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs80, reaching Rs8,525.
It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, gold prices had surged sharply across the country, with per tola gold becoming costlier by Rs7,800, while the price of 10 grams had increased by Rs6,687.
