TikTok Star Wardha Malik Vows to Continue Content Despite Criticism

TikTok influencer Wardha Malik revealed on Rehan Tariq’s podcast that she will continue creating videos despite criticism from social media and society.

Wardha explained that if she had not become a TikToker, she would have had to either marry a wealthy man and endure hardship or earn money independently to support her brother’s wedding, household expenses, and father’s needs. She chose the latter.

With teary eyes, she said, “Whether we do good or bad, we face abuse, and it doesn’t feel right.” She also mentioned that certain comments at recent weddings were unbearable, yet she intends to continue her work.

Wardha added that she earns up to PKR 120,000 in 15–20 minutes and faces inappropriate requests from followers during live gifts.

Following the podcast, two types of public reactions emerged: one group strongly criticized her work, while the other criticized the anchor’s questions and interference.
