35-Year-Old Cricketer Dies of Heart Attack During Match in Pune

A shocking tragedy struck during a cricket match in Pune’s Garware Stadium when 35-year-old cricketer Imran Patel collapsed due to a heart attack while batting.

Imran, who was playing as an opening batsman, reported chest and arm pain shortly after spending some time on the pitch. He informed the umpires about his discomfort and was allowed to leave the field. However, while walking back to the pavilion, Imran suddenly collapsed and became unconscious.

The incident, captured on live stream, left fellow players rushing to his aid. Imran was immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Imran’s teammate, Nasir Khan, shared that he had no prior health issues and was in good shape, making his sudden death all the more shocking.

Imran is survived by his wife and three daughters, the youngest of whom is only four months old. His unexpected demise has left his teammates and family in deep sorrow.
