John Cena Credits Shah Rukh Khan for Inspirational Life Change
In a heartfelt revelation, 16-time WWE champion and Hollywood actor John Cena has expressed his deep admiration for Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. Cena, who is set to star in Prime Video’s upcoming film “Jackpot,” shared how a TED Talk by SRK found him at a pivotal moment in his life, inspiring significant personal growth.
“He (Shah Rukh) did a TED Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I’ve been able to recognize all the jackpots that I’ve been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them,” Cena said.
Cena described his encounter with King Khan as a profoundly emotional experience. “It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person’s hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did. He was amazing. He couldn’t have been more empathetic and kind and sharing. It really was wonderful. I was awestruck, starstruck. It was fantastic.”
This isn’t the first time Cena has publicly shown his appreciation for SRK. Earlier this year, in February 2024, a video went viral of Cena singing “Bholi Si Surat,” a song from Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Dil Toh Pagal Hai.”
Cena’s admiration for SRK highlights the universal appeal and impact of the Bollywood superstar, transcending cultural and geographical boundaries. This remarkable connection between two global icons has left fans eagerly anticipating further interactions between them.
