Ranbir Kapoor Reveals Interesting Details about Age Difference with Alia Bhatt

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor shared some fascinating insights about his relationship with his wife, actress Alia Bhatt. The couple, who tied the knot in April 2022 after dating for several years, has an age difference of 11 years. Ranbir recounted their first meeting, revealing that Alia was only 9 years old, while he was 20 at the time.

“Our first meeting was during a photo shoot when Alia was 9 and I was 20,” Ranbir recalled. “Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was planning a film called ‘Balika Vadhu’ based on child marriage, where Alia and I were supposed to play the lead roles. It feels strange to talk about it now.”

Ranbir went on to express his admiration for Alia, not just as an actress, but also as a wife and mother. “Alia is extremely capable and graceful. I consider myself very lucky to have married someone who is not just my wife, but also my best friend. We can talk for hours, and the 11-year age gap between us is just a humorous detail.”
