Ashley St. Clair Reveals Why She Chose to Have Elon Musk’s Child

American author and influencer Ashley St. Clair has publicly shared details about why she decided to have a child with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

According to Ashley St. Clair, she was already a mother when she met Elon Musk, and life as a single mother was financially challenging. She explained that constant worries about bills, expenses, and raising children made financial stability an important factor in her personal decisions.

She said Elon Musk spoke to her about wanting more children and described time as the most limited resource in his life. Ashley stated that the idea of building a family with someone who wanted children and could provide economic security was very appealing to her.

Ashley also claimed that before her pregnancy, she and Musk shared a deep emotional connection. However, she alleged that his behavior began to change after she became pregnant and that his actions no longer matched earlier promises.

According to her, she kept the birth of their child private for nearly five months to protect the child’s privacy and safety before publicly announcing on the social media platform X that Elon Musk was the father.

In a later podcast interview, Ashley St. Clair alleged that she faced financial difficulties after the monthly financial support from Musk was reduced. She claimed the payments initially stood at $100,000 per month before being reduced to $40,000 and later to $20,000.

Ashley and Elon Musk reportedly first met in May 2023 during an interview conducted by her employer. Reports state that Elon Musk has a total of 14 children from different relationships.
