Virat Kohli Opens Up About Playing 2027 ODI World Cup
Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has finally spoken about his future in international cricket and the possibility of playing the 2027 ODI World Cup.
In a recent interview, the 37-year-old batting star said his approach toward cricket remains very clear. Kohli stated that if he feels he can still contribute positively to the team and make an impact, he would certainly consider playing in the World Cup.
However, he added that things would become difficult if he ever felt the need to prove his worth again.
Kohli emphasized that he has always remained honest with his game, worked hard quietly, and stayed grateful to God for giving him such a successful cricket career.
The former Indian captain also said he would willingly do any role required for the team, even if it meant running between boundaries for 40 overs in a one-day match without complaint.
Responding to repeated questions regarding the 2027 World Cup, Kohli said representing India at a World Cup has always been a matter of pride and honor for him.
“Who can leave their home or their passion?” Kohli remarked, adding that he still wants to continue playing cricket.
