Post-Monsoon Dengue Cases Surge Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Dengue cases are on the rise in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following heavy monsoon rains and post-flood conditions. According to health department sources, a dengue alert has been issued across the province as new cases continue to emerge.

In Mardan’s Baghdada area, eight members of a single household have tested positive for dengue fever. Authorities have since issued warnings to nearby residents to remain vigilant and adopt preventive measures.

Health officials stated that stagnant water after floods has created a breeding ground for mosquitoes, leading to the surge in cases. Citizens are advised to ensure no standing water is left around their homes, use mosquito nets and repellents, and seek immediate medical attention if dengue symptoms appear.
