Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Launches Financial Assistance Program for Orphans and Widows

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has initiated a new financial support program for orphaned children and widows by officially launching the Sahar and Roshan Mustaqbil cards.
Under this scheme, orphaned children aged 5 to 16 will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 5,000 through the Roshan Mustaqbil card, benefiting approximately 9,000 children initially.
Widows aged 45 and above will receive PKR 5,000 monthly under the Sahar card, with around 15,000 widows expected to benefit initially.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur personally distributed the cards, marking a significant step toward social welfare and protection for vulnerable groups in the province.
