The new investigation officer in the Mir Raza case, DSP Fareed Ahmed Khan, appeared before the Judicial Magistrate East and requested additional time to complete the investigation. The court granted him 10 days to submit the report.
During the hearing, the officer informed the court that the Sindh Home Department had constituted a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to conduct a comprehensive investigation. He said all relevant case records had been obtained.
According to DSP Fareed Ahmed Khan, the case file contains more than 1,100 pages and is currently being reviewed. He had requested 14 days to complete the investigation, but the court granted 10 days for submission of the report.
