PM Shehbaz Sharif and CM Maryam Nawaz Visit Flood-Hit Areas of Punjab

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, departed to visit the flood-affected areas of the province. Prior to departure, NDMA Chairman Lt. Gen. Inam Haider briefed the PM on the flooding in rivers, submerged areas, and ongoing rescue and relief operations.

During the aerial survey, the Prime Minister directed all relevant departments to immediately take necessary steps to address the flood situation and ensure timely assistance for the victims.

CM Maryam Nawaz also accompanied the PM from Lahore to Narowal. During the journey, both leaders discussed the flood situation and relief measures while the NDMA Chairman continuously provided updates.

Upon reaching Narowal, the Prime Minister and Chief Minister will be given a detailed briefing on relief operations, rehabilitation efforts, and the future action plan for flood-affected areas.
