 U.S. President Donald Trump has made several bold claims during his recent media interaction, signaling major shifts in diplomacy and trade policies if he regains office.

Speaking confidently, Trump declared that “several more countries” are expected to join the Abraham Accords — the landmark peace agreement initially signed between Israel, UAE, and Bahrain during his presidency. He suggested that peace in the Middle East could grow further through diplomatic channels initiated by his administration.

On the issue of Iran, Trump claimed the country is “no longer a nuclear threat,” though he provided no further details. His statement contradicts recent global concerns regarding Iran’s enrichment activities.

Trump also voiced frustration over his recent conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating:
“I don’t think President Putin wants to stop the war.”
This comment signals ongoing tensions over the Russia–Ukraine conflict, with Trump casting doubt on Russia’s willingness to end hostilities.

In a major economic move, Trump announced that his team will be sending out tariff letters today to 10 to 12 countries, with tariff rates ranging from 10% to 70%. While he stressed that the U.S. is still offering “reasonable concessions” to trade partners, these tariffs mark a sharp escalation in his protectionist approach.

The announcements have already stirred global markets and triggered debates in diplomatic circles as countries brace for potential impacts.
