Security Forces Neutralize Five Militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations; Constable Martyred
In a series of intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces have successfully neutralized five militants, while a brave police constable embraced martyrdom. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement on Monday detailing the operations.
In Mohmand district, a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) led to the killing of three militants. During this intense exchange of fire, Constable Abrar Hussain, a resident of district Swabi, displayed exceptional bravery before embracing martyrdom. Security forces recovered a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the militants.
In another operation in Dera Ismail Khan, militant Sifatullah alias Mullah Mansoor was killed, and three others were injured. Sifatullah was a notorious figure involved in numerous militant activities, including facilitating a suicide bombing in Daraban on December 12, 2023.
Further operations in North Waziristan resulted in the death of another militant. The ISPR emphasized the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to maintain peace and stability in the region, stating, “Pakistan’s security forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and stability across Pakistan, and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve.”
Additionally, on Saturday, the military’s media wing reported that four militants were killed in a joint IBO in Tank district. The operation concluded with the intense exchange of fire, leading to the elimination of the terrorists.
