Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, known for directing films including Kaante, Zinda and Shootout at Lokhandwala, has died at the age of 57, according to Indian media reports.
Reports indicate that Gupta died following a fall at home. Initial accounts said he sustained a head injury, although the full circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.

He also worked as a producer and co-writer on Shootout at Lokhandwala, a crime drama inspired by a 1991 police encounter in Mumbai.
His other notable projects included Jazbaa (2015), starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Kaabil (2017), featuring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam.
