The State Bank of Pakistan has announced its latest monetary policy, deciding to keep the policy interest rate unchanged at 11.50%.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee chaired by SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad.
According to the central bank, the committee reviewed the country's inflation outlook, key economic indicators and the potential economic impact of ongoing tensions in the Middle East before reaching its decision.
Following the assessment, the State Bank announced that the policy rate would remain unchanged at 11.50%, citing prevailing economic conditions and the overall macroeconomic outlook.
