Dengue cases are increasing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa amid the changing weather. According to the provincial Health Department, 163 new dengue cases were confirmed during the past week, taking the total number of confirmed cases this year to 1,690.
The department also reported 1,454 suspected cases during the same period. Kohat remains the most affected district, with 1,023 confirmed cases, followed by Peshawar with 316 cases.
According to the Health Department, no dengue-related deaths have been reported in KP so far this year. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation and compile updated case data.
