KARACHI: Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Tuesday, with the price of one tola falling by Rs4,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold declined to Rs449,336 per tola following the latest reduction.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs3,429, reaching Rs385,233.
Gold prices also declined in the international market. The global price of gold fell by $40 to $4,268 per ounce.
The latest decline comes a day after gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,800 per tola. The consecutive reductions have brought some relief to buyers after gold had remained at exceptionally high levels.
