KARACHI: Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Monday, with the price of gold falling further in the local market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs2,400, bringing it down to Rs463,136.

The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,058 to Rs397,064.

Gold also declined in the international market, where its price dropped by $24 to $4,406 per ounce.

The latest decline comes after gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,600 per tola on September 5.
