The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has officially launched the income tax return filing process for Tax Year 2026.
According to the FBR, taxpayers across Pakistan can now submit their income tax returns. The authority has advised individuals and businesses to ensure that all information provided is complete, accurate, and based on factual details.
The FBR emphasized that filing tax returns honestly and within the prescribed deadline is a legal obligation and plays a vital role in strengthening Pakistan's tax system.
The tax authority also urged taxpayers not to wait until the last date and to file their returns on time to avoid penalties or legal complications.
