Pakistan's swimmers endured another disappointing day at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, with all four athletes failing to progress beyond the heats in their respective events.
In the women's 200m freestyle, Jahan Ara Nabi clocked 2:11.16 to finish 29th among 36 swimmers, missing out on the final. Ahmed Durrani finished 22nd out of 27 competitors in the men's 400m freestyle with a time of 4:14.85.
In the men's 50m freestyle, Hamza Asif recorded 24.17 seconds and finished 39th among 68 swimmers, falling short of the top 16 required to advance to the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Hareem Malik finished 27th out of 28 competitors in the women's 100m breaststroke after clocking 1:22.51.
The results meant Pakistan ended the second day of swimming without any of its four competitors progressing to the next stage.
